Valentina and Leonardo have been dancing and teaching together since 2022, united by a shared passion for tango. They regularly teach seminars and perform at milongas across Buenos Aires.
Their recent achievements include 6th place in the 2025 Buenos Aires Salon Championships, Tango Vals champions at the Buenos Aires City Championships, and 8th place at the World Championships. In 2023, they were runners-up in the Buenos Aires Tango Championships and finalists in the Tango Pista World Cup. They have toured widely across North America, Europe, and Japan, teaching, performing, and appearing at international festivals.
Leonardo Pankow trained at the National University of Lomas de Zamora and in classical and contemporary dance, jazz, theatre, and the Alexander Technique. He has performed internationally with productions such as Pasiones, Tango Journey, and Arrabal, and in leading Buenos Aires shows including Madero Tango and Señor Tango. He has taught extensively worldwide.
Valentina Massari is a tango dancer, teacher, and cultural organiser. Her style blends strong technique with the essence of traditional milonguero tango. Trained in Buenos Aires by renowned maestros, she is also the organiser of the popular Pipi Cucu Milonga at Salón Marabú and teaches at La Nacional, La Viruta, and Salón Marabú.
They will be giving workshops at Sydney’s Club de Tango 2-5 May. This will be their only Australian event.
