Ruedisima Newcastle Latin Dance Co and Mauricio Hernandez are hosting a tango festival in Hamilton with Rina and Nadim Sawaya from Tango Escencia in Melbourne as teachers and performers. Rina and Sawaya perform at festivals both in Australia and internationally and were finalists in the Tango Dance Asian Championships.
Workshops will focus on The Tango Connection: the embrace and the walk with your partner; elements for the social floor and the tango musical tool box.
