| The Gold Coast Tango community and Brisbane friends kicked off this new milonga with style. Thank you to the many who attended and donated a supper plate. We love your friendship, sociability and of course to see you enjoy the dance. The Croatian Club turns out to be a hidden gem. Plain on the outside; perfect for Tango inside; air-conditioned (great for Queensland), plenty of parking, parquet dance floor and the bar is open until midnight. One young Argentine man was heard to comment "At last, some classic Tango. The best music I've heard in Australia; and you play cortinas. Thanks....it's what we aim for. Reasonably priced club dinners will be available from next month. Your comments are welcome. They can only help us improve. |
